-------------------------------------------------------------------
TPP's development lifetime from birth to present day life
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Date: What happenned:
----- ---------------
????? TPP was born. Initially an attempt to correctly appease a
new employee who was a C freak.
04/31/91 TPP had been requested by so many people, we decided to
release it as Shareware. Due to our disillusionment with
Shareware, we made it "delayware".
07/01/1 Increased accuracy of timing reports. You always wanted to
know that TPP was in fact 213 micro-seconds faster than
reported!
07/20/91 It was decided that executing an editor would be a nice
little feature. So we threw it in. Now you could wipe out
any last minute coding errors.
07/23/91 Removed the limitation that a macro definition could not
contain a macro name. Not exactly C-like, but then we
thought C could be a bit smarter.
08/03/91 Removed the remove of TPPT upon compile error. It seemed
that a few people couldn't fathom why Turbo didn't like
a TPP processed file, even though it handled the normal
file correctly. This allows the user to see what went
wrong on the actual file.
04/18/92 It had been far too long between releases. V1.12 fixes a
number of bugs, adds speed, and all that other junk.
